What is RevBase?
RevBase is a sales and marketing information solution that allows you to create your own visual Marketing Resource Center (or “portal”), quickly and easily. With just a Web browser, you point-and-click to add, organize and manage all your marketing assets and sales tools in your own secure, database-driven library. From anywhere at any time, your visitors (typically sales people, marketing associates, vendors, and partners) can access your solution by entering a password. They can search your materials, see visual previews, download ready-to-use electronic versions of marketing collateral, order hardcopy materials, and even provide comments online. You can start small, and grow to support your entire marketing and sales team, all for a low monthly service fee.

How do visitors access my RevBase solution?
Your RevBase solution has a Web address (URL) where your visitors login to the system with username and password. They will be greeted by your customized portal page, where they can search all your materials, see new pieces, download what they need, and more. If you have an Intranet, Extranet or Public Web site, you can add a link to your RevBase application and/or use single-sign-on.

What kinds of solutions can I create?
You can create all kinds of libraries to support marketing associates, sales teams, customers, and even prospects. Each library can contain files, images, text descriptions, and more. They can be named and configured based on application, or target audience. Visitors can browse by category, product, type, and more.

For example, a simple library on your Intranet might start with just logos - call it the "Logo Zone." Add photos, illustrations, templates, and graphics, and then rename it the "Creative Resource Center." A couple of weeks later, add all your datasheets, brochures, direct mail pieces, customer profiles, etc. Now your library becomes "Marketing Central." Create a site within the library that’s just for salespeople, and call it the "Sales Success Center."

Alternatively, start by putting all your hardcopy brochures in a library, and link it to your public Web site as the "Literature Fulfillment Library." Can I link my marketing library to my intranet, extranet, or public site?
Yes. And you can choose whether or not you want your library (or specific sites within your library) to be password protected. Deposit anything you like into your library - marketing materials, sales tools, training materials, audio/video, and even customer-ready documents and reports. RevBase accepts any file type (.PDF, .DOC, .XLS, .PSD, WAV., etc.). You also can label your materials with up to 37 descriptive data fields such as title, contact, expiration date, etc.

How do I manage my application?
Your application will have one or more administrators - and you also can have multiple library Content Managers. Content Managers have a full suite of Web-based, point-and-click tools available to enter materials into the library and to manage and organize materials them. Administrators can manage content, create user accounts, and customize the system.

Do I need any training?
Most likely not, but it is available if you do. Everything you need to know is on-line, including step-by-step wizards to guide you through common activities such as adding marketing materials, grouping them, and entering descriptive data.
